As of May 1st, you will be able to access the facility 24 hours a day! The fitness area, aerobics room and restrooms will be available to you after our regular closing hours. Please note that the pool will not be accessible after normal hours due to liability restrictions.
How it works: The gym will remain staffed during our regular business hours. After hours you will need your key tag to enter the building. There will be a barcode scanner at the front door. After scanning your key tag, the door will buzz and allow you 8 seconds to open it and enter the building. After entering, the door will then lock itself so you are secure in the building.
There will be surveillance cameras in all areas of the gym. Note that you are the only person who may use your key tag. You may not bring guests after hours. Doing so will be cause for membership termination. Remember to smile because you will be on camera.
Who may use the facility after hours? Any member who is in good standing may use the facility after hours. Please note that if you are more than 15 days late with your dues payment, you will not be permitted access. Also, those who are on a ‘trial basis’ may not use the facility after hours (again, liability concerns).
Note that guests are not permitted after hours due to liability concerns.
In closing, we are pleased to be able to extend this service to our members at no additional costs to you. In order for us to continue this service, we expect our members to watch out for one another, use common sense and when able – the buddy system.
